The Beacon
Re:Formation
Dear Readers,

We find that in moments of abandonment, we seek solitude in the darkness of art. As disappointment in our community arises, the writer feels called to create. To form a rebirth of familiar landscapes. This issue aims to facilitate a space of reformation; a curation of poems and stories requesting the reader to join the tension between our present and hope for the future. We ask you to engage with these pieces that introduce new ways of playing with formation, storytelling, and what lies beyond. Do what you will with them as we move towards a revival.
The Beacon is a student-run literary journal created with the intent to create a writer’s community that uplifts student voices. A special thank you to everyone who made this edition possible.
Sincerely,
The Beacon
